November 2017: Maija wins two international prizes.
Our second author published, Maija Tammi from Finland, won last November the Taylor Wessing Portrait Award : Third Prize, and the John Kobal New Work Award for a photographer under 35, for her portrait of a Japanese android called Erica.
This portrait is part of her last project “ONE OF THEM IS A HUMAN”, a conceptual work that presents three androids (human-looking robots) and one plausible human.
This is the FIRST TIME that a shortlisted photographer also won the John Kobal New Work Award.
