Don’t go dumb, go dummy!
Five dummy book contest are waiting for your work, it’s time for the new step: compete for a book making!
We sum up the basic informations here, but it’s highly recommended to read all the notices and requirements for all contest. Every of them differs in details. Do you want to have you dummy back? 1- The 9th KASSEL Fotobook Festival (2017 edition)
The winner of the First Prize will be produced and published by Verlag Kettler, Germany. Second and Third Prize is a book production voucher given by partner k-books, who specializes in high-quality book productions in small quantities.
The Fotobookfestival Kassel together with its cooperation partner Verlag Kettler again invites all photographers to present their as-yet unpublished photobooks to an international public and eminent experts. In 2017 the best 50 books will be shortlisted by a shortlist-jury and will be exhibited at international photo events, amongst others, in Istanbul, Moscow, Madrid, Dublin, Aarhus and Lodz. From these 50 titles, 3 winners will be chosen by an international jury at the ISTANBUL PHOTOBOOK FESTIVAL on 29 April.

2-Images Vevey Book Award
Open to all artists and professional and student photographers, the Images Vevey Book Award grants the winner the indivisible sum of CHF 10,000 (approx. EUR 9,000) for the production of an original photography book, which must be carried out in consultation 
with Images Vevey.
The artist has to produce the book himself (within the year) with the dotation!
35€ per entry and book, need a physical copy if nominated.

3-The 2d Fiebre Dummy Award
The Fiebre Photobook team, composed by the members of Blank Paper School and MOB, are launching the second edition of Fiebre Dummy Award, with the aim of making the winning proposal into a photobook.
The awarded project will be the subject of a photobook, published and distributed internationally in an edition of 500 copies.
Artes Gráficas Palermo will be in charge of the production of the 500 copies print run.
Dalpine will co-publish the book, distribute it and promote it among specialists, institutions, festivals and international specialized fairs.
The final edition will be curated by publisher Sonia Berger from Dalpine and by Fosi Vegue, member of the Fiebre team and director of Blank Paper School.
20€ per entry and book, need a PDF AND a physical copy to be shown in a video first, sent if in the top ten selection.

4-Moscow Photobook Festival dummy contest
The winner will have his/her dummy published at Pareto-Print Printing House (Tver, Russia. Shortlisted works will be shown at the MPF Awards exhibition and estimated by international jury team.
No fee announced. Need a physical copy.
Reserved to photographers from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldavia, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan.

5-the third LUMA RENCONTRES – DUMMY BOOK AWARD – ARLES, 2017
The award is endowed with a €25,000 production budget, including €3,000 for the author or authors, as the case may be, payable in advance. This amount is intended only for the production of the submitted project. The Rencontres d’Arles will take care of the project’s publishing and financial operations.
No fee announced. Need a physical copy.
